I bought 4 new bushings for my control arm from Paragon. I was able to press in the outer two bushings with no issues. When I pressed in the inside bushings (inside of A-arm) I runined two of the bushings as they would only insert about halfway before binding. I tried to sand the outer ridges of the steel and re-insert without any luck. I will post some pics tonight.
Anyone have any suggestions or experience a similar problem?

When you say bushings, do you mean stock, delrin or poly?
I would try a little dish soap to lubricate them, but I was able to press in delrin with no issues on old used control arms with no issues (granted I was using a 6-ton press).

not delrin, they are stock rubber with steel inserts. Here is the link to paragon.

I have been using an arbor press and table vise with no luck.

I'd try to clean it up a little more. A wire brush attachment in a drill worked for me when I installed my poly bushings (I know, not the same).
Lastly, a little lubricant might be in order - WD-40 or a dab of grease. Too much friction=binding.
HTH, YMMV
