Its a simple question but i searched for "cover" and fond nothing.

Anyway,

I have an 84 cover and want to know if it will fit late cars as well.

You're talking about the window shade thingy?

If so, no, I don't they are not all interchangeable. 944online shows at least two different styles of caps.

I believe one style has a female end on one side (the end cap that holds it in place has a little rod sticking out), and the other style has male ends on both sides (the end caps that hold it in place have holes in them to hold the window shade)

My car had a broken end cap on the driver's side - I bought a pair of end caps from plyhammer without checking the style. It works, but the opening for the cover is smaller, so I'll have to cut about a half inch of plastic for the shade to retract more smoothly - point being, there are small differences in the end caps, too, even for the same style end.

Just reread your question; if you pull the cover and the end caps, it should work in a late car. They are the same width; just use the end caps from the '84

The 968's Covers were a Sunbrella type fabric, and did not retract...simply attached to the sides of the car and the hatch with elastic cables.... Totally different from the 944 / 951 "Shades"...
