This is a brand new, never used, Toyo RA1 tire 235/40/17.
My tire installer took a small chunk out of the rubber along the bead during mounting, and replaced the tire with a new one. While waiting for the new tire to arrive, we kept this tire on the wheel and it held air without any air loss at all for the two week time period. The bead itself is not damaged, just some of the rubber along the bead, as seen in the second pic. The damaged portion of the tire is completely inside the wheel, and can not be seen once the tire is mounted.
Asking $100 (they are $172 new) plus $15 for shipping in the continental US. I ship QUICK and accept Paypal.

Tires are useless to me (wrong size), but I can voucher that the tire is still very usable. One of my old tires was damaged in a similar manner while being mounted...and never leaked at all for the life of the tread.

Why don't you keep it for a spare? I am running Kumho's 711's and recently went through a windfall of flats. 2 on edge of the sidewall (not repairable) and 1 in the middle (repairable). Really glad I had bought spares in sets of 2's

I have a second set of wheels/tires I take to the track. If I get a flat, I'll just switch sets (never had a flat yet...knocks on wood.) I figure someone else might be able to use it, rather than having it sit around getting dried out and hard. It's a fresh tire by the way, you can see the manufacture date is the tenth week of 2007.
