Is my gas guage bad or am I using an unusually large amount of gas..?

These are porsches, the odometers never work. Duh! That's why the fuel gauge is so important - it acts as a makeshift odometer...

My gauge also doesnt go passed the 3/4 mark. It stays there for a while though, then starts to go down at about the time I think it would be normaly go down if it had gone all the way up. So once it starts going down I believe I am getting an accurate reading. No biggie

Clarks garage has a great test for the fuel guage but it requires a multimeter. (Although you should already have this) This is a great way to find out whether or not the sender is having issues without removing it. Although it's not a time saver seeing how taking the sender out only requires two more steps.
