Default Torque Spec?

I can't find the Torque specs for the bolts hlding the power steering pump to the bracket. that is all i need before I can close up the bottom engine cover. For some reason I can't find it in the Haynes manual.

anyone?

Can you make up a number? I'd feel better.

numbers? what numbers???

its like cooking, no one measures... a pinch of this, a dash of that....

tighten the bolt until its seated wrist tight then give one good half turn and you're done. If you're still uncomfortable then give it a little more... don't get ignorant though.

My girlfriend's dad used to race dirtbikes professionally for years, and as a result he was a certified Honda mechanic. Well, when he saw me bothering to torque the head bolts on my yami 450, he just started laughing...

Seriously, for the PS, just make it tight. It's steel, after all: hard to xthread/fail.
