Default Cream suede in a convertable

Hi all, has anyone here every put cream suede in a convertible (and maybe protected it with 3M spray). I am updating my car and thinking of black leather and cream suede but not sure how it will wear.

I am going to do under dash (inc glove box), centre console and doors with it. May also do centre part of steering wheel (non airbag model). My theory is I can do most of this work myself so it should not cost much... no good and i can change it.

Any feedback especially from people who have used suede?
