Is Methyl Hydrate not available in the US? I ended up buying Denatured Alcohol when not being able to find MH, which seems to serve the same purposes.

duct tape works wonders for me. Just press it on & pull it up quick...will remove residue nicely.

use some peanut butter, it works well on sap I am sure it could pull up duck tape residue. Whatever you do dont use 3M adhesive cleaner, it eats your paint, griots garage recommended it to me and I know have a white faded spot on my hood. Never again....

WD40 is the one. I just used it to remove some duct tape about 20 mins ago. Also works great on those adhesive parking tickets.
