I've removed my entire interior/ carpet but I can't get the driver front carpet out yet, not sure how you remove it. It looks like the gas pedal needs to be removed for the carpet to come out.

anyone know how you get it out?

Two 10 mm nuts behind the pedal, and you unhook the linkage at the top.

looks like there ar two bolts under the carpet beneath the pedal, I can feel them with my finger but it's beneath the carept and the pedal is in the way of a wrennch so it doesn't look like there is any way to remove them especialyl with the carpet on top of it.

I'll probably have to cut the carpet out unless someone has a method to get it out.

on the back side of the pedal there are the 2 -10MM headed nuts . there is a red or orange 8MM spacer under the pedal to lift the pedal assy off the floor. the 2 studs that stick up off the floor might snap off when you go and remove them lub it up good with wd40 . no you do not have to cut the carpet the nuts are right there.unhook the top of the pedal first and you can get to the nuts .

how do you unhook the top of the pedal? I couldn't see how it unhooks.

wd40 right now so I guess I'll wait until tomorrow.

there is a little C-clip on the end of the rod use a small hook tool to remove it .
