Price is a bit high for the mileage. If it had 100-120k it would be fair.

Greg, the price doesn't seem bad for a cab. Make sure to check the history of this car. It looks a lot like one that was for sale in Purcellville, VA several months ago. I spoke to the seller and he said the car looked good but was mechanicly worn out. It maybe possible this person bought it and realized the problems after the fact. I don't know for sure but since they are in similar areas thought it worth mentioning.

thanks, this is actually for a fellow friend that came up to me with plans of buying a 944. That being said he is a mustang guy, doesn't really know too much about what he is getting in to besides what i have told him. I just dont know anything about the S2's... thanks for the input

EDIT* what should be some things to look in to when i go see the car with him? Cam tensioner... PS leaks....Front end job???? Any input would be great as he is looking to get one soon because he just sold his mustang and has no car right now.

Look for records and make sure the belts and water pump have been replaced recently. As usual look for leaks (oil, ps, coolant). Check the top over good, not only the canvas but make sure that there are not any bent bows. The seal between the windscreen and top can be pricy, make sure its not dry rotted.

I just bought a Black '90 Cab with 64K miles for 10.5K. Exterior is a 9 with no detectable bodywork. Interior is a 7. Has the 60K service and newish clutch. Top works, AC doesn't. Needs balljoints.
