Still working on it. Most of the tire noise in that brake zone was from not getting the revs up high enough on the down shift. When I went to VIR on mon and tues I was the only car in my run group that did nto have ABS, LOL.

By the way, 2:00 or so per lap for your car your first time at RA is pretty good! Here's a couple of suggestions that may help next time. Take more curbing in 3, it's pretty smooth after the re-pave the center of the car should be over the curbing. You're turn-in for 5 is way too early, that's pinching you on exit, you should be on or against the curbing on the right when you turn in and head up the hill. Wait longer to do your downshift before 10, it makes it easier to heel-toe as you don't have to rev as high. I take it you were going straight from 5th to third on the downshift there? The line through 12 & 1 looks great!
Come join us at a PCA event at RA!
Cheers

Thanks for the advice Randy! I really had a blast out there. Like I said I really didnt like the way I was going through turn 3, so next time Ill try getting a little more on the curbing. I kind of thought I was turning in early for 5 but I was sort of out there figuring it out for myself for most of the weekend. Im not the best at heel toe, so I figure goign right from 5th to third is less chance for me to mess up. I know there were some place I could have braked later, carried a little more speed, but I was still learning the track, so I was taking it easy. I really had a great time down there, and I hope to make it back soon!
