You can't feel when those cars are about to break loose, they just go.

When I was right out of high school, I allowed myself to believe the Pontiac Fiero was the epitomy of technological marvel on a budget. While I still think it's a great little car, reliability aside, it was a pretty decent ride for it's time in the 80s. I do however realize that there are many many other cars that are equally as unique and interesting.
Personally, there aren't very many vehicles that I dislike. To me, every car is a piece of art. Of course... there are some cars that are just so unbelievably plain and uninspiring, that I see no use for them other than just transportation. A perfect example of this is pretty much every NON-Performance oriented Japanese car from the early to mid 90s. The Corollas, Nissan Sentras, Camrys... they all look so identical that I'd swear their headlights and side mirrors could interchange. I wonder sometimes if they all shared the same lame-duck gold paint between them.
But Mustangs, although I've never owned on, I still find them to be an interesting car. So I'm not really a "hater" when it comes to other cars. While I do feel more comradery to some vehicles I see on the road, I consider EVERY vehicle a target! heheheh...

That's a cool video...
I do like the notch back or trunk style (coupes) Mustangs though...good bang for your buck in straight line performance.
I also had a Fiero GT (1987) as mentioned earlier, and it was a fun car. Too bad they didn't offer a smallblock chevy v8 like the aftermarket kits have....damn fast car then. My buddy was at bodyshop school and a guy had a V8 Fiero...it needed wheelie bars since when you dropped the clutch the fronts would lift like a foot off the ground. No ****.
Great thread!
