If it's flasing I would think it's an alarm or something like that. Maybe a PO installed some kind of after market thing.

 

If he did, I can find no trace of it. Guess that's kinda the point though.

What kind of PO is he? Could it just be a cheesy flashing diode... ?

Second thought, just get the hell away! Evacuate the block, contact Haz Mat, HS, and FEMA.

Stash your detonators, blow, and auto firearms first though...

 

He was a strange PO. There was a little plastic "light" stuck into the top of my centre speaker grille, attached to nothing, just to look like it was part of an alarm. You can see it in the top left of this picture http://www.redmund.net/924/porsche_924S_001.jpg

That's why I'm hesitant to say it's part of any alarm system. For right now though, my clothes are in the dryer, and I need a shower. It's a long weekend and I'm out on the town. I'll see if i can find those wires tomorrow!
