I just threaded in a bolt leaving it about 1/2" out, take an adjustable wrench and tighten it down on the neck of the bolt right under the head and whack the wrench with a rubber mallet. Works every time.

"Bolt and washer through a socket". Why the HE!! didn't we think of that. Red1 and I spent half and hour going to the hardware store and fashioning a "bushing" to draw the danged pin into. The next one will get the slide hammer routine.
