Default Alignment around Boston

Hey folks,
Just looking for tips on anyone to do a four-wheel alignment in the Boston area. I have the rear eccentric "special tool" if the shop doesn't, but I'd prefer using someone with some familiarity with these cars.

I'm curious what your 4-wheel alignment bills come to too?

Cheers,
nick

www.ranrace.com is a good place to go in Stoughton MA. If they aren't using their own alignment machine yet then they are outsourcing to a good place. It will be a fair price and excellent work, I know because I used to work there.

Check on the price with local Porsche dealerships also. My local dealer is a multi brand dealership and decided to charge a flat rate for alignments to streamline service. The result is a $80 alignment from the Porsche dealer, and it took them three hours to do my 968 after I replaced the struts.

ah ha ha. 4.5 hours at the dealer = $562.

The guy who picked up at ranrace said they send their alignments out even thought they tout their "alignment rack" on their website. I got a warm fuzzy feeling when he said he hates 924 turbos too. Yeah, I'll be recommending them.

It depends on the dealer, some have a flat rate, like mine which is $80 no matter how long it takes..

stolarzj - It was definitely worth a check. Tell your dealer to move north!

In Boston, try giving Russ a call @ C&G Service in Southie. Russ is an inspector for PCA NE. I can give more specific recommendations if you are willing to travel to Metrowest.
