Talking What happened today at the RennSpeed Racing 944 hospital.....

I finally had an oppurtunity to work on my own car for once - what a concept.....

Had some ever so slightly used Bilstein rear shocks to install on my daily ride. I need to source some Konis for the front, either new/slightly used inserts to do the conversion, or some that have already had the conversion done.

One of the P.O.s must of changed the shocks at some point because they had 951 part numbers. This car has actually had really good previous owners for it's entire life.

The last 2 pics show the result of a blown PS hose (oil puddle) and the delrin sway bushings I made about a month ago and my no-so-little helper that hangs out in the garage with me while I work.......

Do you plan to ever make the Delrin sway bushings again? If so will you support all the bar sizes? Here's hoping

I would LOVE to hear that you are going to make delrin sway bar bushings again! If so count me in already!

You should explore the bushing market. You seem to offer high qualilty parts at VERy reasonable prices so I am sure you could gain the market in Delrin as well. Plus machining it is easy on the cutting tools....

Cheers

Haha, going to start programming that today I think.

That part is going to be a challenge to program, I am going to do it complete on the lathe - I will do the spot/drill/tap operations and indexing with the live tools........
