I can probably stay till like 11:30 if i come. Thats pushin it though. I just want to see all the pretty watercoolers in the area.
If the place doesn't open until 11, that doesn't leave our friend much time to see possibly 30 cars or more. Do you think it would be bad if we just sort of arrived in the parking lot before the official opening hour? Then we'd get more mileage out of the event. Just a thought.
A whole week to go! (Sulk, pout)
I'm so excited about my very first gtg that it's gonna be another long week to wait.
It would be ideal if we could start showing up around 10... even if some of you late sleepers didnt show up until a little later.
That was kind of what I had in mind. I bet if we behaved and didn't act like a bunch of crazy a$$holes no one would have a problem with our being there earlier.
I could easily be there at 10:00. I am up at 5:00 even on weekends so it would get me out of the house a little sooner. I can talk car stuff all day so no problem hanging out waiting to eat.
Just spoke to Cubby's ....we're on for 11AM (when they open) and can get there early if we want to checkout eachother's cars. They stressed that they can not have a "CAR SHOW" for insurance reasons...but we're welcome to come park and eat. Told them to expect roughly 30 porsches in their lot...
See you April 7th !
PS - I am going to make a new thread and ask a MOD to sticky it!
Alright so lets set the meeting time for 10am. Just means i need to wake up around 8:30...no big deal . Hope for no rain!!
But if there is rain, the rain date will still be April 8th as discussed earlier, right?

This morning, I posted a link to this thread in a new thread in the 928 forum. I'll keep an eye out for your new thread, then give Randy a PM and ask him to sticky mine too, which I will update to link to your new thread as well.
