Also, I use the below carbon fiber **** in my 83:
http://www.dojoperformance.com/53341.asp. I think it was forty bucks at the auto parts store (about half as much as Momo). I also went ahead and use their suede boot ($29.95)http://www.dojoperformance.com/80112.asp

I had that steering wheel for about 2 years before getting the 944. I was going to put it in my '67 chevelle but nobody made a hub for it. So it sat until the 944 came along. I like it, it makes the car feel like a go-kart. More room to get in and out too.

That wheel is nice. For my engorged thighs, I think that would be a good shape. Did you use the buttons for the horn? I can only get the left turn signal to cancel automatically on my Momo. How about you?

I messed with the turn signal issue on that steering wheel for like an hour and gave up. I just automatically cancel the turn signal myself now. I was using the buttons for the horn, but a while back after taking out the gauge cluster out to check the bulbs, it stopped working.
If I touch the wire to the hub with the ignition on the horn will blow, but connected to the buttons it wont.

Just giving you a hard time, my momo wheel is actually somewhat similar to yours. They do create a bit more leg room.
