Default MAJOR exhaust rattle

I've got an 88 924S with a serious exhaust rattle. The cat and center center of the exhaust are literally bouncing off the sides of the tunnel. I hope I haven't already cracked my manifold.

I checked the manuals and found that I appear to be missing this piece:

I don't recall seeing the mounting location for it though when I dropped the cat-back to do the rear suspension.

Can anybody confirm that the 924S uses this bracket? The manual doesn't seem to specify (or I just missed it)

Thanks!

I'd say you cracked something. Take it out from the headers back and look for fissures.

I have done this twice. Make sure the alignment from front to rear is secure- otherwise you'll snap the weld just after the cat. and baby thats LOUD!
