Default Will these rims fit either an early or late offset 944?

Picked up this pair of wheels a few years ago but never got around to mounting tires on them. Now i need to get rid of them. The guy I bought them from claimed they fit the early 944 offset just fine but i've never tried fitting them.

The fronts are 7Jx16H2, with an offset of ET23
The rears are 8Jx16H2, with an offset of ET11

They're "Ceres" wheels by Oz, very lightweight and Mfg'd in Italy in '83.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Michael. So the 11 offset on the rear will still fit the early 944? I knew the fronts were right but wasn't sure about the rear.

They do look alot like BBS wheels. They're really light like BBS wheels too!

Yes, with the early spacer (in the rear). They will also fit your 86. They look nice. Like Borys said, they do look like BBS from that era.

I dont think you will need a spacer in the back, since an offset of 11 the mounting surface is closer to the middle of the wheel than the 23 offset wheel.

The 11mm wheel will be moved further out than a 23mm wheel

You'll need a set of snow tires now, won't you?

Cool. Did they come with giant "Ceres" centercaps that stick out an inch? I wish there were some decent centercaps that fit these wheels. They're in really good condition and are quite light.

Quick Reply: Will these rims fit either an early or late offset 944?
