Funny, the clock is the only damn thing I havent had to fix on the 924S .

I took mine apart to fix it - and it just had some crap and grime in the gears which I cleaned right out and it works great. Its not always the capacitor I guess which is what I thought it was going to be while pulling it apart.

hmm good point. We always seem to blindly go for the common fix, when we might not have the common problem.
