Wiring oil pressure sender
In my removal of the engine I didn't take the oil pressure sender unit off properly, I just unbolted the 2 wires rather then leaving one of the clips on like I should have. Is there a way to tell which wire goes to which terminal now?

Actually if you reverse the wires the gauge will peg and stay pegged. So its a gamble of figuring out which one goes where...and hopefully not have to climb under the car again..

So with the key in the on position, engine off. The oil gauge should remain at 0 if I have it wired correctly and pegged at 5 bar if the wires are reversed?

The wire with the white stripe is attached on the left post when the sender is installed with the posts turned to the bottom. I can't see the markings from under the car.
