Unhappy So I am loosing interest in my beloved NA fleet......

Been working with a friend's 951, picked it up in Georgia and drove it back. This weekend I will start with the weight reduction - first step in transforming it into a track car.

Anyway, drove it all weekend to get back to Texas and then jumped in my 87 NA - I swore there was something wrong with it. Turns out, it was just a lack of manifold pressure..............man I have been bit by the bug!

You could sell a few of those NAs and get a really nice 951.

You're doomed now. Boost is a stronger addiction than Heroin. Honestly, I love 'em all as they're all Porsches but the n/a 944's are just dog slow. IMO there isn't any reason to do any power mods to them except for forced induction.

your doomed. When I was looking to buy an NA a 951 showed up in the paper. I heard the horror stories of supporting the beast but I just wanted to look. One test ride was all it took. And those horror stories about upkeep were not accurate...as long as you do your own work which you do. Ask me again in a couple weeks after I tear my clutch apart.

Just add a 951 to your collection. You can't get rid of all the 944's you have brought back to life, your their saviour.

Hey Daniel, it seems that you have a good amount of space for cars, so I think potent951 has an excellent suggestion. If I had a nice 951 and a N/A, it would be neat to focus on transforming the N/A into a lightweight "Club Sport" in a similar fashion to Tifosiman. In other words, maximize the benefits of the N/A design and keep the 951 for serious oommph!

I love my turbo to death and wouldn't trade the rush for anything. However, after a while I find I appreciate the NA more especially in around town driving. Of course if I could only have one...

after owning a modified 951 and going back to a NA it just doesn't fell the same at all. It makes me miss the 951 so much. Even my daily driver 04 accord with a 2.4L 4 banger will smoke the NA in a drag race

You could stick with a NA -- if it's a 3.0L....

That's why I will never part with my 924S. A good turbo or S2 project car would be fun though...
