Default How do I take the damper off of the torque tube

I have my torque tube off but need to find out how to get the flex plate off of the flywheel/torque tube? I have looked on clarks and here and haven't found anything. This is an automatic.

The dampner, that bolts up to the flywheel, is held to the tt with a c-clip, and a allen head bolt that is in a coupler that is on the back side of the dampner.

Unbolt the damper from the flywheel/starter ring. You might be able to pull the torque tube/drive shaft back far enough to get to the clip on the front of the drive shaft. Most likely you will have to unbolt the bell housing and pull it back to get the damper out. Otherwise you have to pull the engine forward or out to get to the automantics damper/flex plate.

Don't forget to put the clip back on otherwise the torque converter will not stay in place and start hitting the automatic transmission's housing.

thanks, I actually have it disconnected from the engine and the bellhousing is unbolted already. I will give it a try.
