Source for euro piston rings?
Trying to help a friend with the baddest NA 8v anywhere, fully tuned race car.
Had some issues with freezing over the winter, now has a cracked block as the freeze plugs did not do their job.
Anyone have a source for euro piston rings?

We're local to Sunset and given the folks I'm asking for, that's their first stop. I'm sure several calls came up dead before they call up me, a lowly guy who can't even get his '44 running right
I just happen to be an internet junkie and so I come to you, my 'people'

Hope you dont get charged more for the "euro" rings, since they dont exist.
According to PET, all years of all 944s (North America and RoW) use the 944 103 902 81 (which supercedes to ..82) ring sets.

Not much of a pic, but not much it doesn't have... motons, intake, lexan, bodywork, fuel cell, cage, aero mirrors, more. Pic is from 8 hours of cascades enduro last year... car came in 2nd in class, like 4th overall IIRC.

Been below zero here for two weeks straight.
Otherwise Id be out in my garage adding stress reducing fluid to my transmission, cutting holes in the body of the car to make clutch changes easier, peforming my own 4-whl alignments with a string, 4 pieces tape, 2 sheets of wax paper, and 1/16" allen wrench, etc.
Im usually open to a good discussion, but WTF!
Please note that I didnt intially go after your belief that Euro piston rings offer excellent health care - cheaper yes, but not necessarily better than a North American spec Piston ring.... But the one month vacation during the summer, is hard to beat - unless you need the rings to be on the job for a club race in August, then its a problem.
