On-line Source for Breather Filter (Charcoal Cannister Delete)

It seems like the one you linked would work to control fuel fumes and to keep debris out of the line.
I stuck a cheap $.99 fuel filter on my line back by the tank to keep debris from entering the line/tank. There is no fuel smell. I have no idea whether fuel will come out that line if the car is upside-down. I hope to never find out.
The filter I used looks something like this:

Someone stated on another thread that the factory gas cap is a vented unit, but no one ever confirmed nor denied this. Some people have also said that the ROW cars never had the charcoal cannister and that the line is just capped, however everything I see in PET shows a charcoal cannister so I don't know about that one.

Jim, I bought one of those fuel filters as well, and then I started thinking too much about it.
Potent, all of the cars have vented caps (or so I think), but the charcoal canister is for ventilation BEFORE you reach the pressure necessary to vent through the gas cap. The caps only vent after you reach a certain degree of pressure. I "think" the vented gas cap is like a back up pressure relief. As such, I am hesitant to just plug the vent line.

I remember looking across the bay from NY into NJ and watching huge plumes of smoke pour out of all those factories. It makes me recall the post about european auto unions pressing for low hydro emitting cars - whoever posted that - and Porsche just couldnt beat Fiat. lol
