I talked with the owner earlier and he said the car needs a new torque tube, one of the coolant hoses is leaking, drivers seat has is ripped and the odometer was changed at some point.

IMHO you are better buying a nicer Turbo for $6-$7k

The clutch condition needs to be considered here. It had nothing to do with mileage either. Mine went at 29K miles. The rubber hub self-destructed. 18 years of life killed it.

I would love to get a nice 951 at that price. Doesn't happen in my area though...
