Just working from memory, but it's either 32mm or 36mm?

Legoland951 has a great way of getting that nut off -- he did for me last fall. It only took him like 5 minutes to get that nut off!

Me too. It's an 8' pipe that slips over my 3' breaker bar.

It's 36mm. Also, jack the car up with a hydraulic jack, put the socket and breaker bar on and either with or without an extension (extension works better) brace the bar against a jack stand. Lower the hydraulic jack and the weight of the car breaks the nut loose. Or get an eight foot extension and a gorilla. or a gas axe. or a nuclear weapon.

^^^ that's what Legoland951 did -- used the weight of the car. It was pretty slick!

That's a sweet trick. I would hate to be near the breaker bar when dropping the car though!
