For a second there I thought that was the head of your crankshaft. Then I got disturbing thoughts of what Mazda Miatas do...

This car was stripped and hauled off to the junk yard today. the rest of it is going in my '86 "non-auto". it had been hit in the front by someone who wasn't paying attention, no doubt.

If I recall the thread correctly, he was out on a cruise, was to hot in a corner, back came out, rolled once? I could be wrong, but I'm trying to remember the thread.

A parts car I unloaded. I thought about trying to redo the interior, the fire didn't do it in but the fire extinguisher chemicals caused everything inside to rust.

no, the cheesehead actually came out, (i later destroyed that with my BFH) but the keyway was stuck to the cam gear when pulling out, it cracked the cam at the end, after grinding down the mushroom-ed end of the cam (from BFH... and the key pushing on it) we got the gear off, but the crack near the key slot busted

Good thing this '89 had the extra chassis stiffening! Worked well.

Anybody need some S2 pistons? They'll buff up fine
