Find some low-profile plastic or rubber plug that's a close fit and glue it in place with silicone sealant.

I went to OSH and got an elevator washer, a regular washer, and a lock nut. Total cost of like $4 and it looks fine.

An elevator washer is a disk with a threaded shaft on one side. It looks like if you weld a bolt to a blank coin.

While we're on the subject, if I wanted to keep the wiper, but it leaks, what would I use to re-seal that back up?

Excellent idea! BTW, it's an elevator bolt and you forgot the rubber washers.

Yeah, Chris actually gave me that stuff. Thanks Chris!

What rubber washers? When you take the wiper motor out, you just leave the rubber grommet in the glass, then use the elevator BOLT and a washer and nut. Right?
