I was in a hurry one day, a few years back, and took another car (chrysler) through the local Wal Mart for an oil change.
The *sshat that did the job tightened the filter so much that the gasket was crushed and the metal of the cannister contacted the base on the engine.
Of course, I didn't realize this until I had drained the oil for the next change, 3 months later. Nothing worked to get that bugger off - end cap wrenches slipped off, strap types just crushed it, until I got a special pliers, kind of like a thin Channel-lock that opened really wide, and with blocky teeth.

The raw power that my motor emits sucks the filter down onto the mount to the point where it is difficult to remove.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

lindsey racing has this pretty cool oil filter that you can replace the 8 micrn. cartridge in. It looks all billet and pimp and has a nut on top for easy removal. Maybe you need one of those pimp filters for all the incredible raw power you have Tifo - and if you had it in red you might even gain a few more hp!

how the hell do people actually f*ck up an oil change?
i've done more than my share on an N/A and a turbo, and i've never had to break the filter.
i just use one of those oil filter "sockets" (i think it's a C type) and it comes off clean.
not bagging on you guys, but i'm just curious as to how you come to having so much trouble with this?

OH MY GOD.
if i saw that, i would just give up

i hope that never happens to me.
do you know how it happened? did you leave it on for too long? over-tighten last time?

You might be able to find a pin wrench to fit in the holes, i know HomeDepot sells a adjustable one in the plumbing / brass fitting isle..though it might be to big and clumsy to fit into a tight spot like that.
Worse comes to worse...get a new oil cooler housing. Atleast you will be doing some maitenence by changing the o-rings that typically fail..

At this point, I'd be concerned about cutting myself trying to touch that thing.
Can you get a long flathead screwdriver or a punch on one of those wholes and tap it around?

Can you use the hammer and punch hammering parallel with the cam tower. I have never seen one that bad!
Or...how about prying up through one of the holes to break the seal loose? Work around as best you can.

I can think of two different things you can try and fab up easily to get it off.
One is to cut a piece of sheet metal of decent thickness into a circle aprox the diameter of the filter. Drill holes of similar size and in the same pattern of the holes in the filter. Drill a big hole in the center and put a bolt with a nut on that end. Get 5 or 6 bolts with thin enough threads to fit into the plate and try to spin that sucker off.
Another idea which i think is the best bet is to find a piece of steel pipe with the same (or close) diameter of the holes, cut the pipe down a bit but leave a few 'notches' that correspond with the holes in the filter. Cut a long notch on the other end so you can stick a wrench or another piece of pipe and use it as a t-handle. The advantage of this is you can get a real long piece of pipe so can get as much leverage and space as you need.
This is what im thinking of with the pipe..

Yea, its a real ghetto drawing, but you get the idea..
