I was not going that fast, maybe 30 mph max and decelerating when I hit the curb/median.
It hit and bounced off kinda. I have looked everything over and I am thinking about replacing the rack too. We'll see.

I think if you have the space for it, you should just buy a 944 with cookie cutters (or fuchs?) for like $500, one of those pieces of junk you always find on ebay or CL, and just take the wheel(s), then part out/sell the rest of it. My first 944 was $875 and came with a nice set of fuchs.
But I guess if you already bought the suspension stuff you need, it would be less worthwhile.

yeah, plus space is a premium in chicago.
I dont even have a garage of my own, I have to drive out to the suburbs to use my mommies, which is a measly 1-car.
At least its a long 1 car.
If I can't find a cookie wheel, I might just run the fuchs I just bought from plyhammer, which I believe have summer tires.
The cookies have my brand new Pilot Alpin snow tires.
Just hope it wont snow again....
