Im looking at putting different seats in my 951. I want to know all my options before I bite the bullet. Will seats from a boxster fit? 996? etc. I like the updated look of the newer seats. I might end up just putting 944 seats in, but I would really rather have some 996 or boxster seats. Thanks.

Pretty much anything up to the 993 seats will fit. Boxster/996 will require modification to the seat rails.

993 seats will fit. They look just as good as the 996 seats. They bolt right up and wire into the existing harness. The 996 seats do not, they sit too high and the electrical connectors are not compatible.

If you decide you want a pair of very good light grey leather power seats from an 88 951S, let me know. I hadn't thought about selling them but they are just taking up space in my basement and I doubt I'll ever take the sport seats out of my mostly DE car.
