oh I already went with Gates, I used conti before on my old car and I wanted to try Gates this time, cost more than Conti but I wanted to see fi there was a difference. the rubber on the gates feels different (more soft and rubbery than the conti). However I can't tell if the Gates is stronger or would last longer.

I've never seen a belt with the V on the teeth. There is also no such this as a "Porsche" belt. The porsche belts can be different, I think Gates is now the supplier of porsche factory belts but different companies have made belts for porsche, like pirelli for example.
