I took my instrument panel apart today and found that there are light bulb openings that were not used (they are tape over the holes from the factory). What is supposed to be there? I always thought that there was a alternator light that was supposed to be on the right side of the panel and I just thought that mine had a bulb out. But these openings have tape so I guess they were not used. Should I get some fixtures and replace those?

 

What indicator or warning light is in the opposite position of the bright headlights, above the gas gauge?

 

Shine a light through them and you'll see them. I believe that if there was no bulb in them from the factory, the rest of those circuits is missing also.

 

probably for warning lights that your car doesnt have. Or for the Automatic cluster usage.

 

I put a light behind the panel, the only thing that lit up looks like an upshift arrow. Does anyone have a alternator light or something like a not charging light?

There are a few that are not used.

One has a picture of a steering wheel and says "power servo" or something like that.

And then there is another light by the engine temps that is like a mini version of the turn signal light.
