Default 87 944S valve cover gasket leak

I just replaced the valve/cam tower gasket on my S, and it looks like there is still a slight leak that goes down the middle of the exhaust manifold header. Other than replacing the gasket again, what can I do to stop the leak? any input appreciated.

Try to retorque it starting in the low middle and zig zag out to the other bolts. Maybe one is a little loose. Try this first then think new gasket.
