Default 5bar vs. 10bar OP gauge

Will a 10 bar gauge VDO gauge out of 924 work in an early 944 or do you need a different sender? Thank you. Michael

The 10 bar gauge needs a 10 bar two lead VDO sender. Hollywood Speedometer will set you up. The 10 bar sender requires an adapter which they can provide. Except for the threads it looks just like our regular 5 Bars. I did the change to 924S white faced gauges in my 83 944. VERY happy with the way they look.

Good Luck

Deano

Thanks Deano. Borys, I will send it anyway. I guess it did not work with the stock sender. Anyone got a 5 bar (black and white) for Borys? Thanks.
