You're my hero, Tifo. I just want to be like you when I grow up.

Oh, and Ilko...Tifo knows his **** as well. I'm just surprised he was so cordial...so I tried to make up for it.

Hey guys leave Ilko alone. I met him at Pocono in October when he had the real nice black 86 951 that was for sale, and he is a real nice guy.

When I was questioning how useful the Lindsay Boost Enhancer was on my car he told me exactly how it works and how his/a 951 feels with and without it. He even offered to take mine off for me if i wanted so I could feel the difference.

I told him I didnt want to screw with what Rudtner's Racing did when they set the car up, and that the banjo bolt was in the bag in my tool box. He explained how simple it is to adjust the banjo bolt, and then he offered to adjust the banjo bolt for me.

We are lucky to have honest up front guys on this board and we shouldnt try to **** anyone off if possible.

BTW, should I update my signature? It's been a while and I've gone through a few cars since it was set up.

Hmmmm... buy aero mirrors from Sunset for $320.
Sell on eBay for $400.

Sounds like a winner

Market arbitrage - wouldn't be the first time I've seen that kind of thing on ebay

Thanks for the kind words, Tom! And happy new year BTW! I hope to see you at the track in the spring

I signed up for 3/24 at Lime Rock with SCCA. Just couldn't wait for the local PCA schedule to become available

For anybody who thinks I'm trying to make a buck here, I'm not. I paid $400 for those mirrors and sold them for the same amount. This is also the lowest price you can find those mirrors on Ebay. A couple of people listed part numbers that start with 944, those are not for the Aero mirrors. The aero mirror part numbers start with 965 or 968. Anyway, the mirrors were worth $400 to someone and he bought them, just like I did.

You should also consider that you can pay premium for pre-painted mirrors in your color and save $150 at the body shop. I paid $480 for my black ones that are currently on my car.

If you think they can be had for less elsewhere, by all means get them somewhere else.
