Anyone have issues with buying from seller sleepynemonemo? Curious if anyone has been taken or had issues with this seller.

Don't have any experience buying from them but I did get a chuckle reading their feedback on ebay. Amazing the number of folks warning other's to note previous feedback - can we say do as I say and not as I do??

other people saying to read previous feedback is, to me, a HUGE RED FLAG!

EDIT: Wait, nevermind, I just did some research I did not buy a MAF adapter from that seller, that was someone else. But I did buy and 18mm rear sway bar from Sleepyemonemo. Recieved as described, didn't have any problems with him, ecept for some reason I keep wanting to say shipping was slow, but I apparently have a bad memory....

I bought parts from an ebay seller "doanhartford" a while back. The seller claimed he shipped them twice, couldn't provide a date or address he shipped to. I was doing one of those eBay dispute resolution things, but two months after the auction, "doanhartford" was no longer a registered user and eBay said they couldn't do anything else.

I got the parts about 3 or 4 months later - showed up randomly one day after I thought I was out my money.

When I finally got the parts, it was from "sleepynemonemo" - I think this is a small time dismantling outfit selling parts on eBay
but going under several different user IDs - "doanhartford", "harleylocator" and
"sleepynemonemo" that I know of. Not very organized.

I finally got my parts from "sleepynemonemo" - OK, but there was a handwritten note about contacting them at doanhartford@aol.com for 944 parts, and all seller addresses are in Wallingford, Connecticut

Thumbs down

oh boy did i have problems. first i won an auction for a 914 passenger's door panel. the picture and description listed everything on the panel. when it arrived the lower part of the arm rest was missing.sleepy at first claimed it didn't include that piece.then said 814 didn't come with them or some b/s.
while all this was going on i won another auction. promptly paid via paypal and waited. parts never arrived. i filed a complaint thru ebay for the missing arm rest .then a complaint over the other auction.
the seller kept saying i never paid. so i sent him ,ebay and paypal copies of the confirmation that payment was recieved.
low and behold, next week i got my parts, and then the lower part of the arm rest.

but it's get better...... sleepy then asked me to retract my negative feedback.. buyer beware!!!

I bought a coolant overflow tank from him a few months back.. Took a decent amount of time to get here but it was in better shape than I expected from the pics/description....

I wonder what the story is with that username though....

Sorry to drag this one up from the dead... but I've been watching some of SleepyNemo's auctions and noticed that he'll shut down an auction if the bidding doesn't suit him.

Example- there was a late-model transmission for $1 starting bid and with one bidder it sat. I check today and it was ended early. So be aware- at least he isn't shill bidding.

Sounds like he needs a visit from some rennlisters on their way to a track event. Bring tire irons, chains, torches (oxy-acetylene) and such.

Scum like him doesn't need to exist.
