I bought a fuel level sender from him back in the beginning of January. In his ad he writes that he'll accept Paypal, but doesn't include the Paypal link in the payment info. I emailed him three times asking for a Paypal address and got no reply. Heck, it was only a $10 part, so I just forgot about it. Then a month later, he files a nonpayment dispute. I reply to the dispute that all I need is his Paypal info. He waits almost another month and, right before the dispute closes, he sends his Paypal info. I sent him a payment and have waited a week so far w/o further contact or a part in my mailbox. I'm guessing he'll eventually come through, but I'm glad I wasn't in a hurry.

Burning Brakes
There is a dude in Wallingford that buys wrecks and then uses all the parts to make whole cars. he deals in Porsche, Saab, BMW, I think its this same guy. His facility his HUGE, with hundreds of parts and crap. but the guy is still shady even after 18 years and me dealing with him in the late 80s and early 90s. He has changed his name like 5 times that I know of.

Just to join in the fun, I'll mention that someone hacked my eBay account a couple of weeks ago and went on an attempted scamming binge, selling not one but several nonexistent cars. Luckily it was spotted before any damage was done, but what a frigging hassle it was.
eBay's great in many ways, but a complete nightmare in others.

I bought a parking brake handle from this guy a few months ago... there was no communication from him, and not even a reply to my e-mail. It just happened to show up in the mail after a week or so. It's interesting how quick he is to respond to ebay feedback, but he can't seem to answer a simple e-mail.

Straight from the forum guidelines.....
"It is NOT fine to cast third-party suspicions, as a 3rd party or competing supplier - calling a vendor “shady”, and/or slandering a supplier or person in any public forum. Rennlist is certainly no exception."
