I just got mine. Haven't installed it yet, so I can't comment on software yet.

From what I've been able to ascertain, the LC-1 itself is capable of logging only AFR/lambda through a pc. An additional Innovate unit would be necessary to log other functions. I'm considering the LMA-3 (aux box) which is capable of logging six inputs (either through the internal sensors or through inputs for external sensors). Innovate also has a DL(or something)-32, which has far greater input capability, but is also more expensive. These add-on units can log internally, to be downloaded to pc later.

VEMS unit can log many variables (boost, rpm, temps etc) by default from external sensors of the car.

I use the zt2, 3 years now - love it.
The zt2 likes to use a serial port.

i have another question

Does the ZT-2 log duty cycle on the fuel injectors?

(i have now a lindsey racing narrowband air/fuel monitor that shows the duty cycle of the fuel injectors)
