I'm not sure you are the right person yet to have a N2O. Do a littel more research and talk to some people that had first heand experience witht it. Any speed shop will have someone that knows this stuff. It scares me that you are asking all these basic questions.

Before I installed my first supercharger, I knew enough to know what to expect and what the risks/benefits are. Learn as much as you can about what it takes/does before even considering the cost.

personally I think nitrous is stupid, except maybe if you have a drag car or something. but for a daily driver nitroius is too "fast and the furious" for me. What is the point of having extra power for only a few seconds at a time?

only thing worthwhile on a 944 na would a supercharger but that costs a lot of money.

You'd have to ask Fishey on the specific's for a 944. I've only done nitrous on carb'd vehicles, but it was only a 30min job on the camaro. With fuel injection I imagine it's alittle more complicated

If you can fabricate it will cost maybe a little more than a good quality wet N2O kit.
I built my entire system for the 928 for just under $1000 and it gives me ~125 more hp. Actually I already had the SC so the rest was only ~$500, but i had to build the entire syste. This was mroe time consuming that anything. A 944 has a littel mroe room in the engine compartment so a centrifugal SC could fit even better than on a 928.

Well, If you can pull off a sc setup or a nitrous setup, how about telling the kid how to do it, instead of kicking him in the nuts? Not every one is blessed with mechanical skills, and you sharing your knowledge would greatly help out. Thank God guys like Brian944 are around, who are willing to share their knowledge, instead of being condescending dicks. Put up, or shut up.

"Search" is your friend. You buy that Turbo engine yet?

Oh yeah, and FYI cone filter kit from ebay = waste of your money. Along with that Narrowband flashy lights O2 gauge.

Buddy.......... I'm not hiding anything. Have a post on the the 928 just on this! And ehre is the link to the build page. http://norcal928.org/DIYSC/index.htm All anyone has to do is a seach on my name and will find everything they need or perhaps a PM, but calling someone a condescending dick is not the way to go man!

In all honestly, I don't think he can pull it off. Not yet at least.

Did I specifically put your name anywhere? No? Thought not.

Why didn't you tell the kid about your links? Would it have taken anymore time than kicking him in the nuts? No? Well I'll be.

If you don't think he can pull it off, how about mentoring the guy, and share the love? At least give him a head start.
