Default Sunroof Seal On Pop-Up Roof

Sunroof Seal On Pop-Up Roof

Sunroof Seal On Pop-Up Roof, 924 (1977-82), 944 (1983-1/86), 944 Turbo (1986-1/86)

Sunroof Seal On Pop-Up Roof, 924S/944S (1987-88), 944/944 Turbo (2/1986-89), 944S2 (1989-91), 968 (1992-95),

I must have the later seal on my 1984. It is all rubber construction. The sunroof has a problem with laying level with the top of the car. It is slightly raised in the rear. I had an 924 and it did have a different seal.

Why would there be two different part numbers if the later number was an improvement over the older design?

Bottom line I want the sunroof to sit flush. Any suggestions? Different seal?

Power Sunroof option, if that makes a difference.

Usually the last two digits are for new revisions, and the three numbers before are different types. The 01 should supersced to the 05.

Sunset's page is showing the 05 works on the early 944. Though I am not at home or work, so I cant check my PET parts pages.

I'd just send a message to Sunset with your VIN#, and have them send you the correct one. Though its listed at $130.
