If you do decide to pull the gauge cluster, be very careful when pulling the needles. Also, you should upgrade the odometer gear, clean all of the contacts, and replace the bulbs while you're in there.

Be careful what lights you pick, I'd suggest pencil beams. I know the lights I put in the 954 suck. If it was an NA with 2 dead cylinders I could still over drive the lighting. I still have the old HID setup around, I'll probably swap those in eventually.

Diamond cut lights suck. Personal experience. H4 light housing/bulb is by far the cheapest and best upgrade for our cars at $40 a pair.

Not the same brand as the ones listed, but basically the same thing. I've had them for a couple months and had no problems. These have blue city lights in them along with white halos.

I have the diamond cut and they look great....get a lot of compliments. I did replace the bulb with an extreme white H7.

They look interesting and its the reason I bought mine. They function like if you reduced the visible light by 1/2 especially if you use the blue light bulb where they "filter" a good amount of light so you can't see much in front of you. Functionally, they are definitely worse than the factory seal beam and MUCH worse than the 4 sets of H4 lights I bought since.
