That just opened up a new door. I'm not sure but i believe it is an original C.A car.

What grade of gas are you using lol?

If youre using 87, I think the 2.7Litres need at least 89 anyway

I'm currently running 87 octane but usually run 91.

I don't know, good point i'll try tommoro morning by filling up on 91 octane. Thanks for the advice. Ill get back to you on the problem tommoro.

Oh fo sho fo sho.

You can tell if your car is a CA car too by pulling back the rear hatch carpet on the drivers side and looking at the option codes sticker for the number

M027 (version for california)

Discription is pretty slight so.

Fuel Pump/Injectors/FPR/Sparkplugs/Wires/Coil/Cap/Rotor/Ref Sensors/Clogged Cat

-Fishey

P.S. Could be a broken valve-spring or burnt valves as well.
