Holy crap Tifo, a 928 powered Golf? That thing must fly!....so much torque it twisted the chassis... That thing is very cool.

And continuing on the V-dub theory, my father used to have a MkII 16v '89 GTi with the quad lights in the front. That car was freaken awsome. Its also the only car my father really ever loved he said. Im actually poking around for one as a daily driver right now..

Marc - Bring them down to the V-dub fest or waterfest (whatever its called) during the summer at English Town i think..you will defenetley find someone who wants them. And they will pay big money if you polish them up or they are polished already. Either that, throw them up on VWVortex..they will sell there also.

The 8Jx16 wheel is most desireable in my book - I've got 6 wheels like that - all for the track. Running 8Jx16 at all four corners allows you to use 245/45-16's all around.

VDubs rock...

the porsche will soon take its place, and the dub will retire to grocery getting duties

If the lack of wheels bugs you, convince a company to make replicas. These are Audi S3 replicas on my GTi:

They came with VW caps, but they looked like poop. I could care less is the "Audi" crowd doesn't like it.

I guess I could be mad about guys dropping 1.8T's from totaled cars in MKI's, MKII's, etc, but I know it's on me to ****** up a spare motor before they're all gone. Besides, the fact that things are rare makes it exciting when you get your hands on them!

I need to get mine out to an autocross sometime when they start up again over here. Oh, and VW's do rock for cheap toys.

I've had mine for 45000 miles now and I've done oil and a timing belt.
Oh, and getting to 250Ft/Lbs at the wheels for under $600 is dirt cheap!

I just want one that can interrupt a race like this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=naDUkHfzszc

all of a sudden buying 2 sets of pads/rotors and replacing the bushings once a year became a normal occurence, LOL
