Default Early offset wheel options...

Looks like I may be getting another 951, this time an '86. What sort of options are there for early offset fitment?

Did porsche make a 16x8 or 16x9 to directly fit? I'll be using this on the track, so I'm not interested in any wheel that requires a spacer to fit...

I think the only way you'll be able to get early offset 16x8 & 16x9 is with aftermarket rims - Forgeline, CCW, etc. They make great track rims.

You can run the 16" Turbo Fuchs or PD's (7" and 8") or win the lottery and try to buy a pair of 930 9" Fuchs for the rear if you need 9's. Good luck though a pair can go as high as $1500 in primo shape. Congrats on the new car.

Hmm, I'd be ok with 16x8 all the way round, although 16x9 all the way round would be more bettah for track tires!

Haven't picked it up yet, but I think it's pretty close to being done. Low mileage '86 951 white with linen interior, maintained by my local P-car shop...
