VWVortex123, what's your username on the 'tex?

What a POS. Disgusting how people do such things to these cars. It sucks because it happens more often in the VW community, but at least VW's are more commonplace.

I like to think of my Jesus wearing a tuxedo t-shirt. It shows that he’s formal, you know, but it also says, ‘Hey, I like to party.’

That headlight switch looks to be "vintage" Ford. I'd say 88 Tarus

I like to think of Jesus driving a Hydrogen powered 951 after he separated the H and the 02 from water using no electricity. I think he would let me take a few laps if I act cool.

Do I spy a 931 in the background, or a 924 with 5-bolt wheels?

I also like to think of my Jesus as a grown up, driving a 911 with the engine in the front, because he says , and I quote, "That's how the 944's are, an I like them more."

The car in the back ground is a very early 4-lug 931. It kinda got dumped on me over a year ago. I will be dropping off to Dr. Boost this weekend.
Chris,
The tranny is already gone, but I have the rest of the stuff needed to do a conversion. IF you can sourece a torque tube and early tranny local, I can send you the rest, and do a detailed write-up. Or..... I guess you can drive down.

My plan was to drive down and convert it from girl to boy over a weekend.. I'll see if s tranny is available locally if you dont have a suitable unit Tod.
This may take logistics and may be some time in the future- but I'd like to start planning for this now.

Thanks Buddy!

If frame is straight the rust is in non-structural areas it would make fine track car. When I picked up my 84 about 7 years ago it was nasty POS. 5 layers of Crappy paint hiding 10lbs of bondo, horrible interior, smashed winshield, milkshake engine, busted tranny. Heck 65 races later it still runs strong. I did need to replace a few parts along the way.
