Default clutch squeaking?

I just got back from a drive, and when I was getting close to home I began to hear this squeaking noise. It sounded like it was from the rear of the car, but it would go away whenever I pushed the clutch pedal down. At idle at stoplights, it was squeeking when in neutral and with the car in gear driving it was squeeking and would increase with speed. The only time it would stop squeaking is when I would push the clutch pedal down, whether I was driving, or sitting in idle.
Now I'm worried, and I have to leave for class in 2 hours

Clutch is at the front of the car. Could be torque tube bearings if it goes away with the clutch depressed.

Thats what I thought at first Jim, but it goes away when I push the pedal in, if it squeaked when I pushed in the pedal it would make sense becasue then the throw out bearing would be turning.
I just figured that the squeak was coming from the rear because the TT carried the sound back there. But at this point I dont know whats going on.
Regardless I think I'm buying myself a new clutch kit for Christmas. Sounds like this winter break is gonna be loads of fun, and that means I won't have any vacation time left to take at spring break

If it's not the throw out bearig then the release bearing is the likely culprit. I can never remember but when the clutch is depressed it's one bearing and when it's out it's the other. BTW, that squeaking turns into a hideous squeal in a hurry.

Don't forget to do the long "while your in there" list.
