I bought a set. They are pretty small. I thought they would have covered the whole sill.

Yeah, if you want some door sills from ebay I recomend these ones:
944: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...QQcmdZViewItem
crest: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...QQcmdZViewItem

The guy sells them either with the 944 logo, the porsche crest, or the turbo logo.

I'm working on fabricating these very soon. Mine will be about $40 for the pair and made of magnetic matrial with black & brushed aluminum vinyl. I'll become a member first and then post the for sale link. I've been meaning to get these started for the past 2 months but work has me busy.

I already make them from black magnet material and we can put what ever you want on them. the only issue with them is that they do not wrap around the edge of the door sill like some of the metal door sill plates do.

I don't have them installed. I did not like the fact that they are so small. I will try to find them any lay them on the sill to take a pic so you can see how they would go.

These are the sills I want. The below is from the studiodual.com site. I need the full length ones, as I accidently cracked the end of one of mine. I have no idea where these were purchased from though.

Those are the ones I want too....anyone know where or how much? Much nicer than the cheap plastic ones that get brittle and crack.

DAMN those are nice. I'd pick them up in a heartbeat. I bought the plastic replcement for the passenger side, which had split length-wise along both bends. Of course, 3 months later, now the driver's side is doing the same. I REALLY wnat those metal ones!!!

Everytime the actual door sill ones have been mentioned, the general consensus to buying them is to wait for some to pop up on ebay. I think someone said the last set that was on there sold for $200+ or something crazy.

According to the owner of the above pictured sills, they were factory
aftermarket pieces and have been out of production for a long time now.

Anybody interested in duplicating them?
