I received mine today, they look great! Serge's links, with Daniel's machined spacers and even a picture from Jon (aka TechnoDuck) in the instructions! A real Rennlist effort!

I was especially impressed about how Serge automatically refunded part of the quoted shipping cost when he found that the actual cost to Canada worked out less than previously. It was totally unexpected (and I likely would not even have noticed that difference in shipping) and it just shows what a stand-up guy Serge is.

Thanks!!

Just wondering how you guys set these up. After more than a year of having these on my car i finally got around to putting some washers against the bolt / drop link to space it out so the drop link sits parallel to everything else. Anyhow i had my car on a drive on lift and noticed the droplink was actually kind of loose (the heim joints) and i could turn it easily side to side. I assume this is the correct way to have it set with no preload right?

Yes, the droplink body will always turn(pivot), washers, spacers, or not. I always have set mine on the shortest length just because they match the OE length better and are stronger if not extended. There really isn't any way to install them wrong if both links are installed at the same length. The bar rotates up and down on a lateral axis in front so pre-load isn't possible.

Since the joints are spheric, you'll be able to twist them side to side. If you are getting play laterally (along the length of the link) then it is an issue. If it does become a problem, you'll hear metal clanging going over bumps and road irregularities.

The lengths shouldn't be specifically set at equal lengths - but whatever length is necessary to not pre load the bar, while maintaining an angle close to 90 degrees with the bar.

It's common to have imperfect ride heights side to side, so to take full advantage of the pre-load adjustment, you need to install the links with the suspension loaded.

I'll take a set. Bought these a year ago for another 944 I had and they worked great.

Is it $40 shipped still?
